Geertson Creek Trail Rides  is Licensed by Outfitters  
& Guide License Board. Bonded and Insured.

Local Rides: Our guides have been riding horses since they were old enough to walk. All trips include breathtaking scenery, an abundance of mountain wildflowers and a good chance of seeing wildlife, including elk, moose, antelope, deer, coyotes, wolfs, bears, eagles etc. 

We can stop as often as you like and ride at whatever pace you feel comfortable with. This trip is for you, take all the pictures you like and let us know what we can do to make this the trail ride of a lifetime!

Many times we will stop and gather shed antlers (you find them, you keep them). 

We can pack them out on our reliable mule friends, Dugan and Miss Kitty.

For a real taste of the ranch life, we can offer you and your party a night in our cozy, homestead cabin. Our guides will ride in with you on horseback, and then escort you out the next morning. Please call for rates.

Other Activities: Child care, bird watching, photography trips, scenic trail rides (wild flower, wild life), hiking, horse pack trips, remote lake, range rides, pushing cattle, lodging at homestead cabin or lake cabin, pony rides, farm animal petting zoo.

The Geertson Creek area is just over the hills from Sacajawea's birthplace (Tendoy, Idaho) on Highway 28. Many of the trails through Geertson Creek were used by the Native  American's of the area. 

On the way to Geertson Lake, ride by the old "Eldorado Lode and Mill Site" 1880, and view the Stamp mill, standing Chimney and ore carts along the mountain.
