Geertson Creek Trail Ride Rates

- We offer anything from hourly rides, to an all day ride into Geertson Lake (absolutely beautiful). If your child is too young to go out on the trail (usually for 7 and older, but we do make exceptions), then we offer supervised pony rides in the petting zoo at the ranch.

Sales Tax and User Fee is an additional 9%.

HOURLY RIDES

- We saddle up at the ranch guest area and head out onto the rangeland, sometimes we ride through the cattle (seasonal). We take you to a small peak in the hills where you can look down and view the town of Salmon, a great view of the valley.

One Hour Ride: $25 per adult, and $20 per child 12 and under.

Two Hour Ride: $36 per adults and $34 per child for 12 and under

Three Hour Ride: $52 per adult, and $50 per child 12 and under.

HALF DAY RIDES

- We will go out to the arena and fit you to your saddle and horse. Then load the horses into the trailers and trailer up the creek a few miles, unload and head up into the pines. We can leave in the morning or late afternoon. Whatever fits your agenda. When you arrive back at the ranch, there will be hot brownies and a beverage of your choice waiting for you!

ALL DAY RIDES

r- Much the same as the half day ride ride, only we continue riding until we arrive at the lake (elevation 8680 feet). Once we arrive at our destination we will serve a delicious deli style lunch (packed in by our reliable mule friends, "Miss Kitty and Maggie"). You can go for a hike after lunch or try your luck at high mountain lake fishing (day license required). We leave in the morning and arrive back at the ranch around 6 p.m.

Only $130 per adult

$120 for 12 and under.

Includes a good dependable horse, a fantastic lunch and a great guide for the day.

OVERNIGHT PACK TRIPS

- We leave in the afternoon and stay in the BLM cabin that night, we provide sleeping bags, all you need to bring is a small bag with your personal items. You will be served a delicious pork chop meal cooked over the open campfire. The next morning you will be served a five course breakfast cooked over the campfire. Take a stroll after breakfast to the lake and go for a swim or try your luck fishing. Usually arrive back at the ranch around 1:00 p.m. the next day.

We can make arrangements for family discounts on 1/2 day or more trail rides.

We try to accommodate short notice, but reservations are recommended. Remember, we are very flexible and also have a cabin and petting zoo here at the ranch. Give us a call and we will help put your vacation together. We are very family oriented.

In addition to base price, Idaho requires a 6% Sales tax and 3% user fee.

All rides are conducted in a professional and organized manner. Guides have been riding horses since they were old enough to walk, and have had years of experience.
We recommend long pants, hard soled shoes. Dress in layers, hat of some kind, and sun screen. We furnish rain ponchos.
