Cabin/Ranch Stay
Let us help you plan your stay while in the Salmon, Idaho area. You can come stay with us in our cozy homestead cabin or if you’re looking for something more modern we can help you find the perfect place. There are several bed and breakfast locations we can recommend.
Our old homestead cabin is nestled in the bottom of the ranch, where it is very private. Although there is no electricity to the cabin we have propane heaters and a propane stove top to cook on. The cabin sleeps 4 (1 full bed, very comfortable and 1 hide-a-bed) the beds have warm homemade quilts. The cabin is also stocked with cooking supplies. You do need to bring your own drinking water. For larger groups we can set up a wall tent. I tell everyone this is like glorified camping! All of our guest are very impressed with how quaint and cozy the cabin and surrounding area are.
If you choose to stay with us you will staying on a real working ranch amongst all the animals. We run approximately 240 head of cows that calf out during the winter months. Come fall time their babies go to market and the cows are re-bred in spring and we start all over with the calving in the winter months again.
We also have 25 head of horses that are used for ranch work and pack trips. And let’s not forget all are little friends in the petting zoo!
There is a functional, clean outhouse for your bathroom needs and at our guest area you have access to a real bathroom with a shower. The cabin also has a fire pit outside to cook on or just sit around under the stars and listen to the coyotes howl. If you enjoy getting out and walking there is a fun trail around the mountain and or you can walk up to the guest area approx 1 mile away.

- $40.00 per couple (add $5.00 per additional person)
